H. Wolf Steger is a 3rd year doctoral intern who holds degrees from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (MA in Clinical Psychology), Adler University (MA in Counseling Psychology – Specialization in Forensic Psychology), and University of Toronto (HBSc in Psychology and History). Over the past two years, under the expert training of Dr. Kroll and other police psychologists, Mr. Steger has provided clinical services to the Chicago Police Department, the Cook County Sheriff’s Department, and numerous other law enforcement and first responder agencies. He has extensive experience in providing therapy to first responders and their family members as well as conducting psychological assessments for pre-employment screenings, fitness-for-duty evaluations, disability claims, and FOID card reinstatement.
For over a decade, Mr. Steger has had a passion for the mental health of first responders and police psychology, which has only intensified since his brother became a law enforcement officer. With Dr. Kroll he is currently focusing on providing effective therapeutic services to first responders and their families within a supportive environment that recognizes the unique needs of these populations.
