Welcome to Brave Police and Public Safety Wellness Center, a distinguished mental wellness center that provides high-quality services to law enforcement and other first responders who dedicate their lives to serving and protecting others.

Dr. Robin Kroll

Board Certified Police and Public Safety Psychologist

Robin Kroll is a Board-Certified Police and Public Safety Psychologist in independent practice with offices that serve Chicago and suburbs in Cook and Lake Counties. She has a special concentration in police and public safety psychology, addiction and trauma, neurofeedback, clinical hypnosis, and EMDR. Board Certified in Police and Public Psychology, Dr. Kroll owns BRAVE: Police and Public Safety Wellness Center (Chicago). She works with first responders and public safety organizations in individual, group, family, and training settings for addiction, mood disorders, resiliency, integrity, family, and work-related matters, including critical incidents, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Moral Injury, and organizational consultation needs. BRAVE provides an assortment of psychological assessments that include fitness-for-duty evaluations and FOID Reinstatement, Duty Disability, Pre-Employment, and Promotional Testing; BRAVE also provides police arbitration service and expert testimony.

Dr. Kroll speaks at police and public safety conferences and implements stress management seminars for law enforcement agencies. She also consults with law enforcement agencies and assists with developing Officer Wellness programs, including Annual wellness visits and the development of peer support units. Additionally, Dr. Kroll offers an Intensive Out-Patient program for first responders and those with military backgrounds called “Road to Resiliency,” a 12-week, 4-day group, from 9 am-12:30 pm, for first responders struggling with addiction & trauma. This program includes Yoga for first responders, guided meditation, and breathwork. Individual treatment modalities include EMDR, CBT, Psychodynamics, motivational interviewing, DBT, and stress management.
