William Stetzer

William Stetzer, an intern at BRAVE, is pursuing his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adler University. William is a former first responder who worked as a paramedic and firefighter in Ohio, where he was raised. He recently graduated with his bachelor’s degree in psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. During his time as a first responder, William observed a heightened need for mental health support among his fellow first responders. He is particularly interested in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, and he has an interest in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
